Strategic Environmental Assessment

Essentially SEA is environmental assessment as it applies to the development of policies, plans and programmes. Different from Environmental Impact Assessment, SEA allows the integration of sustinability objectives at the earliest stage of the decision-making process. It is a rapidly evolving field and the methodology is being carried out worldwide among governments and organisations.
